People ask 800, do they ever really get it unless minty? If you look, they are still commonly had non russian capture for 550 to 750. Unless it is ac 41 and early (sans the byf 42) and phosphates, the common guns are all over the market and these imports will do nothing but drive down the price just like the imported m1 carbines did to the carbine market.

I have to go with other members who say buy a good one for a little more. If you can get a all original vet bring back for 150.00 more then a redo capture pistol get it. These p38 s are under priced now I mean a common vet bring home. No they are not rare and there is plenty of them but they are worth the money. The only reason they are as affordable as they are in my opinion is number of collectors. There are more p38 s then ww2 pistol collectors. How long will that last? And if you can get one of these capture guns from this site for half price ask why. Because they are that cheap and plentiful from the Russian rite now. If the mark up is 100% that tells me there are a bunch of them. So if you want one and I know the feeling cause I want one myself. Buy a nice common vet bring home. And have it looked at by a gunsmith and head to the range. These things were made to shoot and last for ever and as long as it wasn't abused then it will be a great shooter.
