Mauser Oberndorf made it in '38... looks honest from here. If matched 1200- 1500 for the Luger and these are numbered inside and out. A matched mag would add to the value. Holster is a plus...

Holster was reused after the war in Norway. The plugged holes are because it was refurnished to have some sort of hook attachement, american kind. The holding straps are replaced.

Your magazine match? ~$1500-1700 if so (and everything else matches).

Scott, I feel that there are a couple of different prices you can go off of. The prices that a few of the fellas gave before, I feel, are "trader" prices. If you go to a gun show, you shouldn't have any trouble getting $2,000+ for everything minus a matching magazine and $2,400-2,600 with a matching magazine.

I have owned two Lugers and the most recent one was a $700 interwar Luger that I sold no problem for $1,400 at a gun show. It's not really what it's worth...it's more who you talk to. Everyone knows these guns so you can usually match up your price with someone who is willing to pay it.

Personally, if I paid $1,200 for that gun, I'd feel like I stole it from you!

In that case, I'll give you $900 and we both win. ;-)

You have a nice Luger and got it at half price. If they were selling for $2k+ my safe would not have any lugers in it and I would be buying a new vette.

Simpson Ltd is getting 2 k plus for many of theirs...so the question is "who is buying them"?

Is Simpson really getting that or is it just the asking price in the ad? And who is buying them at that price.....people that don't know any better or don't have the ambition/skills/patience to find the deal(s).
