    MP 38 recreation

    Just got this christmas present from myself. I did a gun for gun trade with a drum sten, I have been after one for ages.



    The trigger mechanism has a trip lever like a sten, but apart from that looks much the same as a regular MP 38 /40.













    A picture alongside a MkII sten to illustrate the size difference.

            I can't find fault with it. It even has waffenampt stamps ( everything but the swastikas ) and the bakelite is made by the same company that made the originals. If there is a difference it's that the machining is all CNC rather than hand done, the lightening cuts are precise compared to the real deal.

                Yes it's live , it fires from an open bolt, as such it can not be imported into the US.

                    I can see no reason why not. The only problem with the SSD guns is that they are made in very small quantities which makes them expensive.

                      Nice copy ,too bad can't import to U.S. the only thing need to up grade is the muzzle nut being MP40 style not the early MP38 and MP40 one.
