Question on California Firearms laws- my collection- and military transfer to CA

I am having my personal items shipped to CA after my recent divorce. Among my collection, I have items such as WW2 pistols, and one CZ40. Will I have any issues with the gun laws?

I wanted to fly with my pistols in checked luggage, per airline rules. Will I have any issues with any of CA's overbearing laws?

Google and you can find several good state sources. Apparently each pistol must be registered with state at $19 a pop within 60 days of moving to the great state of Kalifornia, as you will be considered a Firearms Importer.

Yes, you will not have a good time with CA's laws. I left because of them. The above post is correct, you need to register your firearms within 60 days of arrival. Ordnance is also a big issue. Most inert ordnance is still illegal in Kalifornia.

In the last year , I've met at least 3 guys who moved out of there to Az. , just because of gun rules.
