      That's the 1914 Model made in Norway under license from Colt if memory serves me correctly. You have a really nice prize there. Was this Vet acquired?

        Bill, as usual, v ery nice find! Gun is great. I'm interested in the holster though as well? any marking on the holster, or info on it?

            Interesting that its occupation made and not a prewar Norwegian army contract (this based on the 1941 date)
            but does not have the German waffen amt markings that you usually see on these.
            My favorite ww2 pistol! Very high on my wish list! Congrats!

              Actually the waffenamt is rarely seen on the pistol as it was only applied to some of the 1945 dated pistols. Less than 1000 have the waffenamt.

                  Kongsberg Colt M/1914

                  Hello

                  You have one of totally 6350 produced for the germans in Norway at 1941/42.
                  They called the pistol "Pistole 657 (n)".
                  This pistol is controlled by Jørgen Bjørnholdt at the Kongsberg gun factory.
