    German Contract SACM Mle 1935A

    Hi all,
This SACM Mle 1935A rig was recently acquired from a friend who owns an antique store. I believe the pistol was manufactured in 1942. I've always admired the 35A as probably the most graceful looking pistol from that period. It came with a German modified French holster and three of the correct blank bottom mags. Here are some pics.

I have the same gun but I never saw the holster before. It is mint, great find

I enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing!
The most interesting feature on this pistol is the finish: a coat of black paint.
I think it is the only military pistol with this type of finish, as far as I remember.

I agree, military ones were with all black paint. I had few of these German used ones, but I never saw one with so much of paint left on it. Almost no wear.
