Picked up an all matching 1938 S/42 Luger today, it had a blue Haenel stamped mag. with an unnumbered but eagle/C stamped base. How rare is a eagle/C stamped mag. and what's a ball park value. Thanks, Van....

I did a search last night, Simpson has a numbered one @ $395. Bob sure does have nice stuff but he seems to be real proud of everything he owns. Kind of like me I guess....
He has always had high prices and he seems to be doing real well so he must be doing something right. Maybe a miss-matched, import marked, tired DWM is worth $1000, I sure wish I could get it.
One would have to guess that an unnumbered mag. would carry a premium as it can go with any eagle/C pistol. This would have been a good one to put on feeBay. I'd give it to Rock Island but they'd list it as a standard Luger mag. and sell it for $95, or put it in a lot with 5 others and give it away.
Maybe I should just look for an eagle/C Luger.Comment
