    Mauser .22

    I presume this is a pre-war built, Mauser ES340B. I just picked this up , all matching numbers, nice walnut stock. It's marked with the "Akah" stamp so I guess it was sold commercially. I think I've seen period pictures of the HJ and other organizations using these as trainers, would it be correct to display with my HJ setup?

                          I think have have seen photos of the HJ using .22 cal. training rifles of military configuration like the DSM 34, rather than hi-end Mauser .22 sporting rifles. The lack of a forestock, military type sights and stock did not serve the purpose of giving the lads experience with K98k configuration rifles.
