    Winter triggers

    I thought it would be nice to start a discussion and post some photos of winter triggers. We had some discussions about them at a show this weekend amoung serious k98 collectors. We realized that with all the repros (some intended to be sold as fake and others as original), there was much confusion on this topic.

    This one was observed. Thoughts? I have reservations about this one.

          What is the verdict on these "S" marked ones? I saw 2 of these as well, and I remember when they first appeared on the market years ago.

                I can't claim to know much , not sure I ever saw a real one yet. I do agree they were made / issued.
                I own a repro (for sure) with a code of "ofh" with No date.
                I like the eeu 43 , for it's construction ,but the k98 mark is upside down (?).
                the "S" marked looks low quality ,like mine.
                can not recall but there is a sight which shows many original examples and mentions maker marks with dates. I knew I had wrote it all down but, lost it in my mess of info. here.
