Very interesting Bill. Years ago I pulled a small group out of Germany that included some clejuso handcuffs. They were marked with a single "K." and a number. The owner was a very old detective who sold me some paperwork and such. He wasn't from a Prussian force, though I think the cuffs were issue and not private purchase.

Hello Joe, Maybe the K. just stands for the German word detective ,,,,Kriminal,,,,, I beleive this is the German word for detective...BILL
