    AC45 P38 opinions sought

I have been offered a gun in trade and I'd like to get some feedback of it's approximate value.
I don't have pictures so I'll do my best with a description.
AC 45, numbers matching on all parts except with a marked Czech contract barrel. 3 proofs on the side. Reddish-brown grips with no cracks. Gun is about 95% with a perfect bore. Absolutely no pitting or finish wear due to poor storage. Just minor and even finish wear from age and handling. Included is a mint GXY45 holster and 2 mags.
I welcome your thoughts concerning this rig's value and desirability.

    Regards,
    Frank

It is my understanding that the contract barrel enhances the value somewhat....
Do you feel this is correct?

The barrel he is referring to was made by fnh in Czechoslovakia. Those barrels show up in ac45s from the early "b" block to the very early "c" block.

The value is enhanced by $100 to $150. I think $1200 for the rig takes that into account.

            Regards, Leon

Thank you for your input. It's a nice honest rig. I am probably optimistic by saying it's 95% condition, but it's pretty nice and I know that by 1945 Germany wasn't making a great effort in the finish department.
I'll post the rig if and when I get it.

Very nice late pistol, with small phosphatized parts (which I really loved ).
Surely would love to see the holster too.

nice, but I personally would see the value as higher than 1200...
