Can anyone identify this holster maker/year . I believe its WAa 706 with a date of 4 . Thanks.

" jwa " is for the Moritz Stecher ,Freiberg in Sachsen. also made p-08 holsters, ect.
hard to make out the date but, looks like another digit there = a 2 or 3 , depending on which photo I'm looking at.
not sure what the WAa code is (not in this book, plus ,not sure where my list is of those are).
over all condition looks very good.

Jeff is right on the maker.
Waffenamt code is 706 for 'jwa'.
As for the date it's only a '4' that I can see, denoting a manufacturing year of 1944, quite common on 'jwa' markings.

I agree with the above. Your holster having the waffenamt stamp is nice. A lot of the jwa4 holsters did not have it.
