Thanks for the nice feedback on the M1934 pistol. Yes - it is in really nice shape and I am amazed at the quality of its construction. Even though I would really prefer a M1934 that has German military acceptance markings, given the condition, quality of construction, and modest asking price for this pistol I just could not pass it up.
BTW: What is the best source of reference material for these pistols?

Maybe not the sexiest of all German pistols, but lots of character.
I have one that is really interesting...
Both the holster and gun are marked with the "M" under the Eagle,
and the holster is marked "Lawrence, Kpt. z., S" with two matching
mags.
