Whalter PP model serial Suffix ?

Hello Walther collectors.

A friend of me have a nice to Mint Walther PP.

The serial number starts with 961xxx.
Can you tell me what year this one was made ?

All serial number records for PP pistols were destroyed in the war so there is no way to confirm the date of manufacture.

Production date estimates prepared by several long time Walther collectors list this date as approximately 1937.
