Smeisser MP 28 II poutch ?

A freind of mine get this one into mail some days ago from the usa.

The poutch are for the MP 28 II Subs.

Marked with an early Totenkopf knukle Head.

Are this Totenkopf mark orginal in your opinions ?

    My question are :

Why do they mark them with Totenkopf so early ?
Its normal with the SS to mark with only SS code ?

That mark look suspect in my eyes , but i can be wrong?

    Opinions of it ?

I'm not sure what to make of this, honestly.
At first blush, it seems dubious and spurious to me.
From the photo, it's hard to concieve that is for hold any
mags...better photos needed, of inside, and flap.
      Just my pennies...

There has been a long, lively debate on the authenticity of these TK stamps that have appeared on a variety of items from flash light cases to MP magazine pouches. I would like to see the entire pouch, as it appears to be one of those made for the Dutch contract? I personally do not care for the TK stamps.

seems the "tk" markings look just to crisp looking , compared to the rest of it. no real ware on it from the strap hanging over it.
my money = post war (recently )added.
plus it seems way to big , compared to others, on other items.

I think it has more of an appearance of a map case. The two small holes on the closure strap are where the spring fastener was located. It pushed through the d-ring at the bottom and locked the strap in place.

Are you sure Joe W ?

Are there other collectors with pics of magasine poutch used for submachingun MP 28 & MP 35 in leather ?

                  Opinions ?

Study the pics and the TK mark.

                      In use at Mussolinis liberation:

Note. Although wearing LW tropical uniforms and M35 helmets, those men are SS-personal.
