What a wonderful sight indeed , but sadly we have left this great material leave our country .Southern Ireland operated Hurricanes and Spitfires and today we have no examples left in our country , should we have not kept this material for our own museums ?
I know this material has found a new home and will be well looked after , that there is no doubt , but what a sight it would be to see a Hurricane or Spitfire fly over Ireland again in Aer Corps colours .
