    Mauser DSM34

Here is my latest purchase ....
I found it from an old collector that lives in Bologna (Italy) who bought it from a farmer in 1946.
Unfortunately I only have these pictures. I'll take the gun only next month ..
What do you think of it?
Does someone knows where could I could find a cleaning rod for it?
Condition of barrel, mechanichs and wood are optimal..
    What will be its history?
What year of production? Military or civil?
Thanks in advanced for attention and comments..

Does it take a cleanng rod?
I can't remember but maybe just a stacking rod?

I think you need the sling tab for sure.

The DSM-34 has a stacking rod that screws into the stock. Originals are hard to find, but reproductions are available. The sling tab (riemenknopf) is also hard to find in original. A replacement can be machined though. This is a nice early DSM made in 1934.

The name is marked on the side of the rifle receiver in your fifth photo: Deutsches Sportmodell.
