    Unknown grips

    Picked this set up a few days ago in the passing belief that they were for the P08. That they are clearly not! But what are they for?

    At first glance they sure look like Luger grips but, as you say, they are not. What are the dimensions? Can you post a photo of the reverse?

      What makes you so sure they are not P08 grips?

        Proportions appear to be short and squat when compared to a P08. Also the left grip (shown on the right) lacks the cut-out in the upper right corner for the safety lever.

          Maybe they are for the "baby Luger", a .22 pistol made by Erma-Werke

            Of course, thanks for pointing out the the obvious lack of the cut-out for me,
            I must be !
            I also think Gene just might be right. I think the grips come from a post war Erma .22 LR KGP 69 (or ER 22) or 9mm KGP 68.

              Now we are getting somewhere!

              The rear is flat on both, except for the small groove visible on one. The size is identical to a standard P.08 grip, as shown.
