what is that supposed to be?

first of all, sorry if this is not the right place to ask this, i guess its got something to do with firearms but im not sure. im totally confused as to what this is:

i found it in the forest, where german and russian troups fought in the second world war, but also a lot of garbage is dumped there.
what makes me sure of it being from the ww is that its in the same state as the gun ive found

can anyone help me what the first *thingy is?

and if youre just thinking about it...... will you tell me what a gun that is as well? ive narrowed it down to a few types but i just cant find that exact model

    pleaaaaase.... help me

    thanks!

I do not know what the object is in the first picture, but the relic rifle appears to be a K98. Hope this helps.

The first thing is unknown, but the other is a K98 for sure. Steve

the thing is with the first object that it is hollow on the front and on the screwback its solid.
it has a few holes in it on the sides like its some kind of silencer or grenade launcher. I really have no idea what the **** it is lol
I found a few others like it in the forest but yeah.

First one it's the bottom part of the mortar shell. Very common finding with metal detector. I'm not sure caliber, but mostly are 81/82 mm. Sometimes 120mm - of course in areas where I search.
