    Spreewerk P38 grips

    Hello

I wanted to know all the different models possible on black color, war period.

That's because I received a P38 made in Jan 1945 as I saw on internet but the seller ripped me off and changed the original grips by some black ones which are post war I think...
In that case, does anyone know where I could fine some originals for it ?

    Thanks !

Why do you think they are fake? Black grips were mixed in on all late model P.38s and are not uncommon!

Can you post a photo of the inside of the grips for review?

Here is a link for quick review.

all my p-38s (44 /45 )dated have black grips , and came back with u.s vets.
so I'm with bob , that these might be original to the gun , not fakes or replacements.

          P38 grips.

Hi,have you checked out the p38 forum,a mass on info on there, with info on the various grip colour versus pistol maker. My most recent P38 an AC44 came with a set of nasty Russian or repro black grips. I bought a replacement set of originals from the raskantik web shop and a replacement mag for the postwar Walter mag that came with the gun. What you might say was not a good purchase on my behalf.Regards David.

I am 99% the grips with the gun were post war. I checked them and there weren't any maker mark inside and the grips are put to the outside and not the inside (hope you see what I mean)...

So I claim to the seller and he finally sent me the correct ones with correct maker marks etc. So the story finished well.
