    Browning Hi power Mag's

I need 2 each High Power magazines coded WaA140 and I been looking for months.
Well, I found a company that has some and they say its marked WaA140. So, why don't I buy them. The cost is $200.00 per mag & I need an expert on mag's to tell me this is a fair market price. It sounds pretty rich to me, but I haven't been able to find any WW II coded mag's for the high power. If I can buy 2 I will complete this high power rig.

    Any advice is welcome

    $175.00

    Don,

Hi, I used to see them for around $175.00 but that was awhile ago. I don't think that they are to far off the mark... but at that price they should be in nice shape. Its not so much that the stuff is getting high priced, its that its hard to find these days.

I would ask them if they would give you a price break as you are buying two, I have been able to get PP, PPK, Luger and P38 mags out of Russia... but those darn HP mags not yet. I'll send a picture of one to my contact and ask him to look for for some, if they are found I will get you a better price than $200.00 each but that could take time and then you risk the others being sold?

Hang in there Don, we all have had to step up and pay big bucks for mags. etc

    Regards,
    Robert

$200 is the going rate for these WaA mags now! I know it sounds like a lot, but consider this; There are mags out there that sell for even more! ($500!!!)

        Browning HP Mag's

        Thanks for the price information.
Couldn't let it slip by since I have been looking so long. I paid his $200 and it should be on the way. He only had 1 so I'm still in the market for 1 marked WaA140

          Hi,
I have a WAa103 marked HP magazine. How much can it be worth?
Pity that my HP is also WAa140 so the mag does not match the gun.

My HP is also WaA140 and I picked up a good mag for it. Now I'm looking for a good spare mag. Guess I should have put WaA140 in my post.

            Thanks anyway

Help to ID a high power magazine

I have a split tail that is marked only with the number 7 and a circle with a c in the middle. I need a WaA140 but can anyone tell me about the mag that I do have!
              Thanks

I don't know what the going rate is for Wa marked HP mags but, I can tell you that many if not most of the Nazi contracted HPs came from the factory with NON Wa marked mags.

I've looked at my share of non-tampered with vet bringbacks that were delivered with non-Wa stamped mags, this is maybe more the case with the "a" block and higher HPs....I don't when it started and if Wa marked mags started being the rule with later "a" block HPs

I mention this because everyone (for many years) has seemed to jump in this bandwagon of outfitting their HPs with Wa stamped mags and that is not necessarily correct!

If you think a WaA 140 mag is tough....

Years ago I purchased a high power from a fellow who had just purchased it in a motel buy. He was a dagger guy, and only mentioned it was a high power. Turned out to be a tangent sight WaA 613 type. The magazine was a Belgian marked mag with the 613 markings. I'll need to pick up another mag was my first thought....Well, it's been probably 10+ years. Took half that long to find an early 41 date proofed holster and I'm still looking for the mag! I had a chance two years ago, but it was priced at $375!! When I called that guy, he said he'd sold his two but could have sold a dozen at that price! Guess my pistol will just have to settle for a 103 2nd mag...unless someone with a 103 HP has a 613 mag, perhaps??? l

                  Love this hobby...
