    Kriegsmarine marked Radom

I believe I came across a Radom the other day with a Kriegsmarine stamp. How much more desireable are these than a Radom just WaA77 marked? Thanks!

    Kriegsmarine marked Radom

Hi Joe: Original marked Kriegsmarine Radom's are very desireable. There are two reasons why their collectable. 1. Not many were made. 2. Most that were in service ended up on the bottom of the ocean. Be very carefull if you are going to purchase one. Like most WWII items there are carefully faked ones out there that are over priced. Thanks Paul, I've read some things on Radoms tonight, on this site and Jan Still's Luger site. I think I may have been mistaken, but I will have a better look next week. Just wanted a run of the mill Radom for the collection, so we will see what this one is like. Take care and thanks again,
      Joe

Paul is correct. A KM marked Radom is extremely rare! If you found one, I would be extensively cautious! I cannot over ephasize this! I personally have never seen a real one (in person), but have seen several fakes!! Beware!!

            Mariusz. v,

Is this KM marking on the slide or the frame? Tough to tell from your pic?
Also, what is the "N" number of it?

The KM eagle mark you do see is on the frame, the N has no property numbers just N alone.
I did see number of kriegsmarine Radoms over the years but they had never kriegsmarine markings on the slide.
              Mine is genue.

MV ; I am not so keen on your radom's marking. It is etched and not stamped like the Mauser HSC , Sauer 1913 and Mauser 1914/34 pistols I had that were KM marked with a stamp - not etched.

The original markings on Radom KM pistols were engraved ,
I have seen identical markings on mausers 1914/34
It is hard to see that without such great magnify .
