What manufacturer produced AC 44 G-43's

A friend asked me to find out for him what manufacturer produced AC44 marked G-43's. Since I have no idea, I am asking here.
Also, is there a good illustrated online guide on how to take them appart?

OK, with a bit of googling I see that AC is for Walter...
A link to a nice illustrated stripping guide would still be nice.
