Walther PP question for the Experts.

A what's it worth post. I know I know some of you hate them but...

I'm not looking to make money on my Walther PP I just got it from my deceased father and would rather own a Walther P-38. So I need to sell the Walther cause the days of having extra money are gone and I have to sell to buy.

My Walther is Post war and I aim to pick up a post war Walther P1.
Not sure when this one was made, mid 50's or 60's. I thought I saw a year on it but could not locate last I looked.

Photos to follow. In case it cannot be seen there is slight wear from being holstered on front of the firearm. What can I get for this?

You can get a very nice p1 for about 350-400. Your PP looks in very good condition, the early ones go for 400-450 right now. It is .32 cal? Because the later ones are .380 cal. So I think you would not have any trouble trading for your walther if you decide to do that.

Yes my PP Walther is a 32 Cal in American terms. I can't find a year on it but swear my Dad told me it was made in 52 or 55

I got lucky and scored a pretty good shape example from Classicfirearms.us

I was too cheap to add ten bucks for hand select but could not be happier. I don't trust an order picker to actually hand select anyway. I think sometimes they just mark it as such on the order form.
