Congratulations on getting this nice MG42.
The bolt looks complete and un-deactivated to me ?
Having a bolt with the roller still in place is nice do they lock into barrel head when dry fired ?
    Is the barrel removable ?
I love your bi-pod looks like a nice early one to me with adjustable legs is the bi-pod marked with any WaA mark ?
How is this MG deactivated ?
    Super gun Phil.

      Hi Rob
thanks for the comments it does look nice, its not actually here yet, i am arranging layaway plan on it, the bolt has been sympathetically deactivated whatever this means, but looking at it it looks like the catridge guide/pusher has been ground away at an angle instead of the entire face, and 2x vertical cuts have been made on the bolt face, looks neat, not sure about the rollers, the last mg42 i had had rollers intact in the bolt, as the locking wedges on the barrel were ground away so the bolt could move freely foreword and backwords

Update, there has been PM sent to me by another member on here, and it looks like maybe the wood stock could be post war? and it looks like the grip panels are yugoslavian, do yugoslavian grip panels fit on ww2 mg42 trigger group frames?, if they dont then i am pretty sure the trigger group must be Yugoslavian, if anyone can give further comments about this example it would be much apreciated, thank you for the comments/opinions soo far, maybe saving me some money if it turns out its a mix master of yugo parts of which i was told no post war parts were on it!

But you can post a link to the sellers homepage with the MG42.

              Hi Phil,
please take a look at this link below, this was up for sale about a year ago now, but I distinctly remember it had a Yugo butt stock with long serial number, despite the seller saying it had no post war parts! It is also a 1943 dated dfb manufactured MG42, and has the same style butt stock as yours!
