      I assume pre nazi? This is part of a collection I am trying to buy..Can anyone give me a heads up on value or some reference? What are the insignia? Thanks too all........

          Hi!

          Yes, Kiwicollektor's right. The value is approx. 300 usd in this condition.
          I think the us vet customized, the style is not hungarian.

          ....and you need a magazine.

                Well the large bird on the left grip resembles the Sturm Ruger logo. Either someone wanted to make this look like a Ruger or they really liked Hank Williams Jr!

                    As unusual as this may sound, the grips appear to be mastodon ivory with a gold nugget inlay. These type of items were souvenirs of the Klondike, Yukon in the 1950's. The etched 'bird' is probably a phoenix. As you might imagine, gold nuggets are rather collectible these days.
