Not if its re-blued. Its nothing better than a shooter at that point and worth far less than $750. Heck, its not even an investment. Pricing lugers is very difficult because everybody's idea of condition and so forth is always different. My opinion of 95% finish might be someone else's opinion of 75% finish. Its just too subjective. I will agree that prices on lugers are seriously crazy these days. Every show you go to you'll see a ton of them and no ones buying them because they are overpriced. Dealers just want to capitalize on the mystic of the luger and get every penny they can out of it. Deals are to be had if you are patient and look hard enough. I just recently picked up an all matching 1940 mauser luger, with a holster and two mags(mags not matched) for $650. It came from an acquaintance of mine up North who bought it directly from the veterans son. Vet wrote his name and serial number on inside flap of holster. IMO if I ever sold the set, A fair and honest value would be $1200. Perhaps I could get more, but again I feel its a true, fair and reasonable amount that would have no issues moving at that price.
