    Leather M1 Scabbard

Anyone ever seen a WW2 USMC 1942 marked M1 leather scabbard before? It's marked US USMC 1942 JB .

I've seen (and have) leather holsters for both the M 1 Garand and Carbine. The M 1 Garand holster is fairly common... I.E. you find them ever once in a while. M 1 Carbine holsters are hard to come by.
Mostly when you find either of these, the carrying straps have been cut off which decreases the value considerably... If you have an M 1 Carbine holster with the straps intact, $600. plus plus depending on condition.

You see them all the time, usually pick one up for around 100 dollars.
