Mauser Trainer/Sauer 38-H values???

I've got an opportunity to pick up these 2 guns, and I have to admit I'm a little clueless on their values. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The first is the Sauer with holster and extra clip, bore looks good and the finish looks nice. The second is a Mauser 22 trainer, all matching, surface has some very slight rust. I couldn't see any markings on the stock, and the bore is good. I hope the pictures will show you what you need to know. Thanks Jon

I've been able to get a good idea on the value of the Sauer, but I'm still needing some help on the Mauser trainer. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Jon

The sauer rig would be worth in my opinion in the 700-900 dollar range, possibly more depending on who you talk to (lots of them around nowadays). The mauser has seen some better days. Light pitting and rust would be closer to the fair/good. Somewhere between 300-450 would be my guess.

That's what I would estimate them at. My estimates have been known to be pretty accurate but I have been wrong a few times. Someone else may chime in to clarify.

Sauer and Mauser

You could clean that Mauser up somewhat, I'd say 500-600$, these are getting harder to find...I check completed auctions on auctionarms.com and gunbroker.com to get an idea of what range (auction price of course) that they have been closing at in the last 90 days or so when looking at something.... Does the Mauser DSM have the stacking rod up front, and do all the numbers match? That will put it at the top end of the dollar range... Chris..
