Was going to attach a picture of the floorplate of a ERMA 1939 K98 but for some reason I cannot post attachments. Anyway I would have thought the floorplate should have the serial number stamped on it. It is a russian capture and does have a milled floorplate. Any comments thanks

Bogart. the floor plate would have the waffen amt of 280 & NO serial number.
trigger guard with sn. ; follower with sn.

That's what is making me query this item closely. It is quite a few hundred miles away and I want to be sure of it before I make any travel arrangements.Comment

RC pieces are nothing more than an assembly of random parts from buckets.
Barrel and reciever usually match, but that's it.MLPComment

As you said ,it's a russian capture , so ussually they are never matching.
they stripped down almost all these rifles after the war.
checked piles of parts , re blued the good parts ,and reassembled into rifles again.
none of the parts were kept together.
