M1 Carbine

I bought an M1 carbine a few years ago of the brand "Alpine". Seems to be fairly unknown, what do people know about it?

Alpine was one of the commercially manufactured M1 Carbines, and I think they were actually manufactured by National Ordnance. Some of the early guns had some surplus GI parts, but I think toward the end of production all the parts were commercially made. Some shot fine and some were problematic.

they were made from 1962-65 time period.
