    CZ27 with checkered wooden grips

Received this vet bring-back CZ27 in a trade yesterday, and am quite pleased with it. Now, my question is concerning the grips. All the ones I have seen online had bakelite grips, but the wooden ones on it just feel like they have been on it from the start. They are almost a cross between the CZ27 grips and the 1914/1934 Mauser grips, but are of a different cut than the Mauser ones. Any light that can be shed on this is appreciated!

It may be that the grips are off a CZ Vz.22?

Custom made grips. Vz. 22 and 24 grips have another shape.

Thanks, Jan! They seem to be wartime, and since it is a vet bring-back, I wouldn't doubt it!
