    Battery box.

    Hi,I have several of these,I would say the box is original but when it was modified with the spring clip on the inside of the lid and attached with the two rivets who knows. When this type of mod has been discussed in the past the general opinion is a post war modification. Regards David.

        Yes, I believe it is a french post war modification. The green paint is quite hard to remove.
