Pair of WW2 Nazi Period MG34 Barrel Sleeves Table Lamps
This is an unusual use of a pair of Nazi period MG34 perforated barrel sleeves. They are waffenampt and have been wired through an aluminium tube in place of the MG barrel. They have been professionally re-wired to British standard and are ready for use. The barrels are mounted on circular wood bases. Each lamp is 28 inches high with a 9 inch diameter base. They would certainly be a conversation piece and are highly decorative and practical

Phil337 is correct = M.G. -13 . most likely newly made from a screwed up parts kit.
Interesting , not sure I would want to own them. my m.g. 13 would cry all night. jeff

Wow these are great!! Ive seen this done with artillery and mortar rounds before but never MG barrels

I have seen a pair of lamps made from TR sword handles, but not from MG barrels.

What a fright! At dirst glance I thout they were early 4 hole MG34 shrouds. Thank God the were only MG13

I agree with the prior post; these look to be of very recent construction using some of the MG-13 parts kits (from Portugal) that are currently on the market.
