MG34 Lafette Uberschiebtafel/ firetable

I just purchesed this Uberschiebtafel for my mg34 lafette and was wondering if it was wartime german or postwar?

looks ok to me, like an early one? degrease it and post pictures after clean up. Although the rivets look far too big for original ones

Looks good to me, if not original, it is a very good repro. I dont suppose you have a spare?? I also need an early one like this.

i was thinking of cleanibg it up, what would it look like new? and what would original rivets look like and be made of aluminum and steel?
And sorry i dont have any extras! was hard to get this one gl with finding one!

rivets I thought were steel. if it looks like dirt = clean it = mild soap BUT ,might be an anodized finish over the aluminum , as a few other parts on it ,were done this way.
you would not want to remove that (?)
most of these had the plates removed from the next owners , replaced with their version. jeff
