    Latest Astra -600

Here is the latest Astra 600 I have acquired. Let me know what you think.

    Thanks
    Pat

Aaah...that is nice. For some reason, most of the Astra's I've seen have pinkprick pitting and the beginnings of erosion, especially on the front/back straps.

    Nice example, Pat!

    Best regads,

    Jason

Thanks - When the temperature drops back down to around 90F, I will take some more afternoon photos.

For parts of the country that's been midnight! Hopefully in the Carolinas, you've had it a bit easier than that.

          Best regards,

          Jason

It dropped down to low 90's today, so tomorrow I am going to give it a shot !

              Thanks,

                  Great photos.

As I've only shot with Astra 300 (in .32 ACP/7,65 Brow) I do wonder about the recoil in 600. What's your experience with these?

Pat - no need for additional photos (unless you really want to!). The piece is a superior example of an Astra.

                    Great acquisition!

                    Best regards,

                    Jason

Thanks. Probably the same as many collectors, I enjoy photographing them almost as much as collecting them !

I actually don't shoot guns that I consider "collector guns". I would have to think this would be a pretty tame pistol to shoot, consider the weight and size of it is pretty significant. I shoot +p 9mm through my SIG-226 for qualification and it is pretty tame, so I would guess the Astra 600 would tame it even more.

                        Thanks

Congratulations ..... its A-600 is newly manufactured output.
If you have the opportunity, take a shot gun. It's great strength.
This gun shoots very difficult conditions ... mud, water, sand ... very good for the war in trenches.

                          regards
                          Antonio
