    good sites on ww2 guns

Is there any good sites on just German world war two guns. Any other good sites on just any world war two guns.

    Brandyn,

It all depends on what you are looking for? If you are looking for information, you are at the right site already!

If you are looking to purchase a WWII firearm, then there are many sites, and it really depends on what you want to buy as to which sites are the best. (lugers, P38s, K98s, other German pistols, other German rifles, and acessories, like holsters, and pouches)

Let me know exactly what you are seeking, and I can point you to the proper location to find it!

I am mainly interested in sites on the k98, but also am interested in the luger, and p38. If you have good sites on guns on other countries guns other than German guns I would also be interested.

      Thanks,

Here are some good information sites for you then:

P38- try the P38 forum. A very good site for information. Plenty of good experts in there who know just about everything on the P38. Address is: www.p38forum.com.

For the K98, try the MSA website. This is the site started by Keith Boell, who unfortunately passed away this past January.
It too has some good information, and good experts there. Probably not as many visitors as this site or the P38 site though.
        The address is- www.mausershooters.org.

For the luger, there are tons of websites, but if you have questions about them, simply go to the Luger forum and ask away! Address is- www.lugerforum.com.

Hope this helps you out. If you have any questions on either of these three fine firearms, please feel free to ask them here as well. Plenty of good experts here as well who have both general knowledge of German firearms, and specific knowledge of these three specific weapons you stated.

Like Matt suggests forums are an excellent source of information as lots of knowledgable and helpful people post on them. Remember to run a search of the forum before asking a question, as it may have been asked before.

If you want a website that is more general in information try http://world.guns.ru/main-e.htm which has a big database of firearms. Or you can (shameless self promotion) visit my site for straight pictures of WWII firearms: http://www.gunpics.net

              Another forum

              Hi,

In spite of find this forum very complete and full of information, I woul recomend the Jan StillĀ“s forum about Lugers. As you may read in your another thread, Mr. Still is the author of many important books about Luger and III Reich pistols.

              Here is the adress:

              http://www.gunboards.com/luger/default.asp

              Regards,

              Douglas.

www.waffenhq.com is perhaps a general site (not just WWII), but it provides a good basic story on many different weapons.

Click Infanterie for handguns and rifles.
