    I would gues Russian from muzzle and air cooling vents, no idea what make or model though......sorry.

      This MG is the Russian 7,62mm LMG of the II WW. It was often used by Russian volunteers in the German Army(Vlassov and others).

          Dp-28

          Its a Russian DP light Machine gun, during WWII they also made a modified version called the DPM. I have fired the DP and its a very nice gun, it does not have a hich rate of fire and I would compare it to a BAR.

          It has a large flat pan cake type drum magazine that sits on the top of the receiver, The Germans did convert some of them to 8mm!
