Berlin police Sauer 1913

Hi guys,
I managed to snag this at a friend's pawn shop today. It's marked on the grip strap S(chutzpolizei) B(erlin).2417. The mag is marked with the pistol's serial #. There appear to be earlier, erased unit markings under the existing marks. The holster is incorrect for the Sauer as it's for an Astra 300. Here are some pics.

A nice Berlin Police pistol Len. It is interesting that the magazine has been reworked from another police pistol. I have one of these marked to the Bavarian Polizeiwehr so they were used by several different departments.

Really nice one Len. I have a more or less mint one, but it is standard commercial piece.

These little Sauers are very neat and interesting pistols.
Good to see a good amount of fire blue still on the safety lever.

These early Sauers were really well made. The finish on them was commericial quality! That's why so many of them still look good today.
You should be able to find the correct police holster for this gun. They aren't too hard to find.
