I posted this a while back. Im reposting as Ive had it completely cleaned and added the bringback papers onto a plaque. My friend that cleaned it said it hasnt had very many rounds through it and the best one he has ever seen. Hope you guys enjoy.

Very nice P.38 and great display with the plaque.
A bit jealous, as I was much less fortunate than you a couple of years back : the P.38 holster I got was... empty. Well, not really : the capture paper was inside. I also displayed it under a plaque (not as nice as yours though), so it has today a far better shape and looking.
Well, if someone sees the matching numbers P.38 passing by, please drop me a line.

Fantastic!!! That is a late latre late war CYQ p38!!!! I have one in the Z block as well, but yours has to be pretty close to when the Russians were walking up the front door!!!
