Webley .455 With Shoulder Stock and Bayo

So, I was offered a Webley .455 with bayonet and Shoulder stock and original holster. The Bayo and Stock match the Webley's serial numbers. These are not cheap Indian repos. My question is what the hell are the originals worth. The Stock has the proper brass plate, all proper acceptant markings. These are original to the gun, err say original as it will get. What is the value of a complete package like this. I know it is extremely rare and i was rather shaken just happen to bump into it. As of now I dont have any pictures, but I would like to know if anyone would happen to know a price. It is a absolute amazing piece. Everything is about 90% condition. If i dont get a answer that is ok. I have just never seen one before, and have no clue if the sellers asking price is fair.

I'll start on this: it's unclear what sort of revolver you have, as there were several Marks of Webleys in .455. Most current values would have a very good condition .455 model at about $400-$800 or so, with the ubiquitous Mark VI commanding the lower end of the price range. Interestingly, I can't find useful quotes for the stock and bayonet. Values for the Webley semiautos, which did come with stocks, note that you can double the value of the firearm if it comes with its stock. Since yours appears to have both a matching stock and bayonet, you can probably safely assume that $1000-$1500 is a fair price, depending on the model: that said, I'd be very curious if someone can come up with more definitive figures.

One thing to watch out for is the possibility that it was at some point converted to .45 ACP. This was a common mod in the 1960s to allow American owners to fire (what was then) cheap ammo: this was done by shaving the cylinder, leaving a wide gap between cylinder and frame, and usually shaving off the serial numbers, which were usually on the cylinder face as well. This will detract from the handgun's value, and many Mark VIs that made their way to the US were so "converted" - sadly.

Pictures would certainly help. Are you talking about a Webley revolver or auto pistol, as Webley made both.

" I have just never seen one before, and have no clue if the sellers asking price is fair."

What is the seller's asking price?
