I missed this last spring.... Glad it popped back up to the top... As the man said, breathtaking. Luger fans can appreciate what they are looking at. And yes, I too understand being patient over the years and snagging one piece at a time...

Jim, I picked everything up seperately over the years.

George:
I'm assuming you did a lot of your acquiring years ago. I attended a large gun show over the weekend and most of the Lugers for sale were in the clunker category.
I have a half dozen or so examples in my own collection but they were all purchased some time ago.
However I did manage to snag these about 1 year ago.
I kept the Type 1 and one of the Type 2s. I sold the other one to cover some of my expenses.
