thoughts on my US 50 CAL AA Cradle
Its been kind of a pain finding out much about this piece. I did find out that this Anti aircraft tripod fit in to the standard ground tripod for better support.
Im sure sooner or later it will go on the chopping block since I dont have the 50 CAL to mount on it...HAHA
I know the pics arent that great but the rust and pits are disturbing...
Should I have it restored.. Sandblasted and repained or leave it be?
I found a few sites that have just the cradle (with NO FEED tray) for over a $1000.
What do yall think... spend a few hundred and restore it .... or move it as is?
