Selbstladegewehr 258 (r) ?

Hello,

Recently I showed one of my color slides to a friend of mine; he said one of the guns depicted is a kind of rarity, Tokarev SVT-38 or Selbstladegewehr 258(r).

I thought you may also find it interesting.

Fantastic, I have a couple of these rifles and love this picture... this is a super nice color photo!

I wish I knew how to make some of my unique weapons pictures the right size to post on the forum, any helpers out there? I have 4 rare pictures of svt38/40's being tested by the Germans!

The rifle pictured is a 259(r) known by the Russians as a SVT40., a 258(r) would have an addition stock band and be known to the Russians as a SVT38
