There is a fully functional Mauser K98 , dated 1937, with bajonet and cleaning kit for sale here in SA. The condition is very good. What would a fair price be for it? Sorry no pics at this stage.Much appretiated Jacques

Depends,is it matching #'s,is the bore good?Is the blueing 100% ,50%?An all matching k98 with decent blueing and agood bore with a nice stock would fetch anywhere between $1,00.00 or as high as $1,800.00 USD Obviously the better quality the higher the price.

G'Day Jacquesf, Mate what screamingeagle said rings true but that said ONE thing I have noticed is that pricing differs greatly from country to country. What maybe a $1800 K98 in the U.S. is close to $2500 down here! Just search your countries gun shop ads/ gun sites etc that you may have in your part of the world and good luck

Boy oh boy maybe it is time to get out of this hobby, I appreciate why the prices are what they are around the world but this all seems a bit silly.....
