    argentine mauser

    my brother is interested in this gun but i dont know much about it. it looks to be customized but i am not sure. what are yalls thoughts on it

      Depends on what he wants and how much it is. It has definitely been altered from it's original military configuration. If he wants a collector, stay away. If he just wants a shooter and it is dirt cheap, go for it.

        Bubba got his filthy hands on it. I wouldn't pay more than a 100 for it.

          I wouldn't buy it period unless I was planning on hunting with it. Argentine M91's in untouched condition are very easy to find and not that expensive. If you buy this one at any price and try to restore it you will never, ever get your money back.

            At the end of the day it is still a Mauser. If the action is good and you got a gunsmith who does good work for a reasonable price a $100 is fair. Have it rebarreled and take it hunting.
