i am wondering what a reasonable price on a 1928 west hurley 45 cal machine gun would be. i have found one at 15000 bucks and it looks ok. cutts compensator and a 10 inch barrel. stick mag and a drum. i know guns but the world of class three is unknown to me. what do i look for? what are the investment areas of this weapon, as i am looking to buy and eventually sell at a profit. are there other models or types that would be a more prudent investment?

That price is quite high for a West Hurley, they should be closer to 10K. If you want one as an investment I would look for an original transferable gun. -
