I don´t think so...
Hi folks,
As far as I can remember the Wehrmacht didn´t marked their guns with unit marks. This practice was abandoned during the WWI (1916 or so), was in practice again during the Weimar era and finally discontinued in early III Reich era. So, I don´t think that there is any WWII gun marked for U-Boots.
However it was common for Kriegsmarine guns bear the marks of the fleet wherethe gun was placed: Ostsee for Baltic Sea (Kiel base) or Nordsee for North Sea (Wilhelmshaven base). The guns were marked with a Anchor over the letter "O" or "N".
Many Mausers HSc and Mauser 1914/34 were issued to the Kriegsmarine Officers.
Hope it helps,
Douglas.

You´re right. This story is reported on John Walter´s book "The Luger Story" (Greenhill Books, 2001) at pages 80 & 145. The gun was found in the wreckage of U-51, sunk in 1916 and recorvered during the 60´s. Heavily eroded is now on display in a Museum.

I remember visiting the U505 at the Chicago Museum of Science & Industry a few years after the exhibit was opened (in the 1950's). At that time there were a couple of weapons racks in the crew quarters that held several K98-k's and some MP-34 machine pistols. I have no way of knowing if these were correct & original to the ship, or if they were added at the whim of museum staff.
Don't expect to see them now of course, as we all know that it is no longer politically correct to display these nasty items.
