    K98 barrel swap

What's involved in removing and replacing a barrel on a K98 rifle? I know the barrel is threaded and screws into the receiver, but what else is involved? I have a junker 98 and was recently given an original barrel in a trade. Thanks!

    screw it

just have a gun smith screw out the bbl and put the new one in.. Then check head space with your bolt..It takes a lot of torque, and should be done by a gunsmith with proper tools..wfg
