The name on the first holster appears to be APH HOFFMANN Berlin 1916. Thanks for any help you can give.

The top rig appears to be for a Mauser "Broomhandle" (C 96). The other rig is for an "artillery" model Luger. I expect others will come along with more detailed information.

The Mauser C96 harness is a fake and the artillery rig is for the 1936 Persian contract Mauser artillery Luger.

On the 1936 Mauser Persian contract LP08's, I find it interesting that you see a good number of holster/stock rigs floating around on the market (here in the US) without the pistols. My understanding is that these LP08 rigs were never surplused by Iran but, rather, are items that US military personnel stationed in Iran during the pre-Islamic Revolution days would obtain from their counterparts in the Iranian military, and then smuggle back into the U.S. My understanding is that most of this activity took place in the 1960's and 1970's. In particular, I've heard that US Air Force personnel often brought the Persian P.08's and LP.08's in from Iran via hiding them on returning US military cargo aircraft.

In any event, you wonder how so many of the LP08 rigs seem to have gotten separated from the guns? After all, these guns were not used in a war and were brought into the US under peacetime conditions.

Thanks for the information. the price is $100.00 each so would you pass or either take the persian rig for a bill? any help here would be appreciated.
